Renaissance Hamburg Hotel – Hotel near airport in Hamburg

The hotel is located in a beautiful area near Rathaus and Binnenalster, making it the best part of my stay for visiting the city center and enjoying Christmas shopping. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with a luxurious feel, although street noise disturbed my mornings. The service was generally good, especially with helpful and friendly staff like Herr Hoffmann, but lacked support for the Elite program. Dining had its ups and downs, with superb service from Linus for omelettes but lacking quality in some areas like coffee and bread. The facilities overall were nice

Staying at this hotel was like being in an old apartment but with clean and spacious rooms. The friendly service went above and beyond to assist with all my needs, although at times it felt like it was a bit too much for them. The location was unbeatable, right in the center of Hamburg, close to premier shopping areas and the picturesque Alster lake. While the dining options were lacking in quality and variety, the facilities were decent overall.
